A typical season for the Cowes XOD Fleet starts in April and continues until mid October.
Racing is most weekends with the ‘Cowes Clubs & Classes’ events but we are also lucky to have Classic Week & Cowes Week regattas along with our open event, The Telegraph Bowl organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club (RORC).ccca-framed

Local keelboat racing is hailed as the backbone of Cowes Yachting and is run by the ‘Cowes Clubs & Classes Association’ made up of the yacht clubs in Cowes.

There are two series run in parallel, one being the shoreline start series called the “Solent Series” and the committee boats starts called the “Cowes Keelboat Championship”. Typical Notice of race here.

There are various other sailing Regattas throughout the year including the Telegraph Bowl, August Bank Holiday Regatta & Central Solent Series to name but a few. It is also possible to sail to the other XOD Division locations and race with them as well.
